Perception of Reality

Reality is Not What We Perceive

Everyone has their own unique perception of reality. Reality is filtered through our ego and it is unique and different for everyone. It depends on the genes we have been given, and the environment we have grown up in. The culture, the circumstances, our family, school, work, etc. This also means that reality is therefore different from how we perceive it. You can change reality by changing yourself. This insight alone changes your reality enormously.

The Ego

Our ego drives us, because the ego is the essence of what we are: a desire to receive. It is through to the ego that we take action, we want something and we go after it to get it. We always want something better than what we have now. This applies to us as individuals as well as to humanity itself. After the desire is fulfilled, a new and greater desire arises and in this way our ego grows. You can also see this development in humanity throughout the ages.

The Desire Grows

You may wonder what the purpose of this ever-growing ego is. I can tell you that the ultimate purpose is to become completely fulfilled. We as humanity are at a point in our evolution where we find that more material things will not give us that ultimate fulfilment. We find that it is never enough and that after one desire is fulfilled, another desire arises. We are now approaching a point where we realise that no material thing can ever fill us. It is a time when we need a different kind of desire that will bring about a great change in us.

Purpose

We begin to ask ourselves what fulfilment really means. Filling ourselves with material things feels increasingly empty. Slowly but surely we discover that giving is more fulfilling than receiving. When we look at nature, we can see that we as humans are different from nature. Nature is abundant and giving, and we are almost exclusively concerned with how to get more for ourselves. Of course we also give to others and we discover more and more that this is much more fulfilling. We come to the second stage in the development of our ego. Instead of only receiving for ourselves, we begin to think about giving back to nature.

We Search for Answers Until the Answer Finds Us.

It is like the awakening of a small point in our heart. Out of all the desire for ourselves, a point of desire for giving arises. This is the beginning of a great change in us. We can only be truly happy when we give to others. This sounds very obvious, but it is much harder than you think, because we are born with a desire to receive. That is our nature, so we have to go against our nature, and the ego is not happy with that. We go through a process of always having to rise above our ego. But like all difficult things, it is worth it!

Perception of Reality

What is reality? What is a person, a human being? Our perception of our reality causes concealment to us. A person is like a closed box with five openings, our five senses. Around that person, that box, is a complete reality, also called spiritual reality. From this reality things come to us. Through the five senses we determine what that thing is, in other words what reality consists of according to my senses.

When this object outside the box comes to us, something strange happens. It does not really enter the box. The box is a closed system and before the object can come in, it touches a barrier, a kind of transmitter, something like the eardrum or retina or a nerve of the skin surface, or a taste bud. The object is reduced and goes through a program and it is interpreted by us into something that we can understand according to certain principles in the program. Once it has gone through this program, it leaves the box, this machine, and this produces our reality.

It doesn’t matter how sensitive this sensor is. It can be an eye or a space telescope, or you can be completely nearsighted, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the programming. What happens in the program, this subjective system. It can only be what the system says it is. Not what it really is, but a reduction that can be understood by the program.

As a result of selfishness i am trapped inside the five senses

Why is this program limited? It is the objective reality and the limited part we can perceive of it. This program is called selfishness. “What is in it for me?”, “How is it going to influence me?” As a result of this selfishness I am trapped in it. The person is locked in a subjective view of all these things. Only in relation to how it feels inside the box. So we have a problem, because each of our five senses works with exactly the same program.

So in order to know what surrounds us, what the big reality is, we have to develop an extra sense. A sense which can actually make contact with what exists outside the five senses. To do so, you must have a desire for it. It is not possible to work outside the box, to build something outside that box, as long as we are satisfied with what we have. There is a motivating force within us that enables us to get to the point where we need to get out of the box.

We understand that we are ‘a will to receive’, that we are built as egoists, and we must also understand that this is okay. We need the ego to achieve fulfilment, there is nothing wrong with it. We just need to learn how to use it, how to handle it and how to use it for this spiritual purpose.

The power of desire for something better is what motivates everything in reality

What moves things in reality? What makes things happen? Nobody does anything in this world without getting better from it. Maybe you move in your chair, your gaze wanders, maybe you have grabbed something to drink. Every movement you are involved in, happens only as a result of a calculation: that you feel uncomfortable where you are and that a need has arisen in you. And you have moved to a new position or a new situation that you think will make you feel better.

This lack and its fulfillment, the power of desire for something better, is what motivates everything in reality. And thanks to this longing, it will eventually take a person out of the physical world, out of the perception of the physical world. We will leave the limitations we experience and the suffering that goes with it. If we learn to use our desire in a good way, we can enter the spiritual world beyond the barrier.

The desire to receive evolves within each of us and within us as humanity. We feel desires and we feel how they change. It starts with a desire for food, sex and shelter. Our efforts, our work, the whole purpose of our lives has to do with finding and getting these things, just like animals. Once we have fulfilled this, we realize that life is about much more than that, and we can no longer be satisfied with it. Then a second category of desires appears.

These desires – one, two, three, four – all have to do with the physical world

Next is a longing for wealth. Wealth is an addition to the first category, so that I never have to worry about it again. And once we have fulfilled this longing for wealth, we come to the feeling “is this all there is? Then something else grows in us. It is not only the desire that grows, it is a desire that encompasses the previous desire. Now a longing for power arises. This has happened on an individual level, but also to the whole of humanity. The whole scope of history has been the evolution of these desires.

Power is the ability to control both the first and second category of desires. And also this longing is no longer enough at a certain moment and then a longing for knowledge arises. Knowledge is essentially the barrier of what we define as the physical world. These desires – one, two, three, four – all have to do with what we experience as pleasure, what we want, what satisfies us. Well, knowledge is science, it is religion, it is art, it is the pinnacle of what we consider to be something humanity could possibly achieve.

Yet anyone who seriously delves into this very great desire and tries to fulfill it, eventually discovers that it is also empty, that in science there are no answers for the real causes of things. So, because there are no meaningful answers, there are only mechanical answers. And those answers only have to do with these desires. Religion does give us convictions, but cannot give us access to what we really want: a direct knowledge.

A new (spiritual) desire appears in our hearts

So, once a human becomes empty as a result of having fulfilled all this, something completely different, something very special, a new longing arises. But, this desire is not a desire from this world. It is a desire which is placed in our heart and which is the sum of all the desires we have, both for this world and for what lies beyond it.

This longing is placed within us from a very different level of development, from the higher reality. And what appears in our hearts is a “point in the heart”. This point is a part of the greater reality. It has an aspect of spirituality, as this longing is fulfilled, it constantly grows until it fills our whole experience, our whole existence, and it can bring us into the spiritual world.

What is a higher reality? We are created in exactly the opposite stage to the quality that exists in the higher worlds. Therefore, we cannot perceive what is there. It seems as if there is nothing at all. Man consists of a desire to receive. That is what is in the box. And this desire to receive makes us experience a limited existence, makes us suffer, experience isolation and all the things we find difficult in life.

In the spiritual world there is no time and space and therefore there is nothing mechanical there.

What exists outside is an objective reality. This is the will to bestow, an unconditional altruism. In other words, the experience here is unlimited, unlimited existence, unlimited joy. We cannot feel this, because we have no means to get there, we only have our five senses. Or do we?

In the spiritual world there is no time and space and therefore there is nothing mechanical there. The spiritual world consists only of states of feeling, which have to do with certain qualities, inner qualities. All movement in spirituality consists of equality or inequality between two states of feeling or qualities.

We can see this, for instance, in friendship. If my friend enjoys comedy and I do not care about comedy, I am just a serious person, then it is not very likely that we will be very good friends. If I hate comedy, it is clear that there is distance between us. But if I love comedy and I love the same comedians, the same movies as him, then my friend and I, in terms of the love of comedy, are close to each other in that feeling.

There are only two things, the quality of giving and the quality of receiving

In other words, in spirituality, if two attributes, two feelings, are equal, they are considered close, if they are different, they are considered distant. But the beautiful thing is that what can actually move us from the physical to the spiritual, is if they have exactly the same quality, purpose and intention, then they are the same, then they are connected.

And it is this law, the law of equivalence of form, which can take us out of our selfish state of separation, so that we are able to build an extra sense that can feel what is outside of us. What we can do is to build within us a similar frequency, a similar quality, which has the same quality as this altruistic quality of bestowal.

Actually there are only two things, the quality of giving, bestowal, and the quality of receiving. This is all there is. And to get out of the box, we have to move to the spiritual space. This means that this quality, the will to receive, has to change step by step to the quality of giving, in order to become more and more equal to the altruistic, giving nature.

THERE IS A LADDER TOWARDS THE STATE OF LOVE

It is like a ladder, with each step of the ladder representing the states as increasing amounts of the will to bestow beyond the will to receive. Through the increase in equivalence of form with the giving nature, we will begin to feel what giving actually is, what it means to love and support everything that exists and to build this similarity within myself.

Emerging into a Reality of Love

Question

People around me want nothing but to hurt me! What do we do when one tries to love and the other does not?

The mutual love that we aspire for is impossible within the ego. I “love” another person because he is good for me, but in fact, I want only to exploit him.

Loving fish

Love within the ego is like loving fish-I love fish because I enjoy them. In the same manner, as long as I enjoy someone I enjoy being with him and I “love” him. But the moment I don’t enjoy being with him, I push him away.

But there is another love, one which we still don’t know. It exists above our selfish considerations, above our nature. When the picture of us being parts of a single, inclusive, and interdependent system is revealed to us, we surrender to its power and the true love of others awakens within us.

A Higher love

And beyond this love there is an even higher love. Beyond mutual dependency, the quality of love itself is drawing us towards it, for we realize that loving and bestowing are the most exalted things in reality.
Love allows us to transcend our regular perception and we begin to sense another reality.

When our natural aspiration to absorb everything within us changes into the aspiration to love and to give, the minute and limited reality we now sense relinquishes its place, and the complete reality appears to us-the spiritual reality.

The nullity of the ego

One who comes to feel the spiritual reality realizes that people mistreat each other because they are naturally controlled by the ego, not because they are evil. He discovers that they were deliberately created that way to eventually attain independent awareness of the nullity of the ego. Only then well they emerge from it into a reality of love.

Picturing the Future

An alternative environment

Our goal now is to set up the infrastructure for an alternative environment that offers another avenue by which we will conduct our relationships. I’ll be interested in what a person studies, his or her areas of interest, and the social circles to which he or she belongs, instead of their jobs. Our job will lose its status as an person’s ruler because people will engage only in what is essential to society.

Shifting into the projected image

To adapt to this future image, we need to imagine it and plan how we will shift from the current image tinto the projected one. We need to change from within, which is no simple task. It will entail revolutionizing our perceptions, sensations, and approaches to reality-a redesign of all our thought patterns. There is no greater revolution than this one.

Everything will change

Such a change affects the essence of life, the reason why we get up in the morning and go to sleep at night, the thoughts that run through our heads during the day, our achievements, and how others relate to us. Even the structure of society will change accordingly, and of course, the education system will evolve into a radically different one.

Baby steps

While the nature of the change is still unknown to most of us, it is nonetheless our future. The baby steps we initiate preparing for it, gradually moving toward it , will allow us to see the direction of the shift and understand and welcome the process that is bound to happen.

Processes will be unfold

It is similar to a child walking into kindergarten for the first time. he doesn’t know what he has entered. He doesn’t know that it’s a part of an entire education system that will accompany him through the rest of his childhood years. Similarly, we are not yet aware of the global system and the processes that are about to unfold.

To balance our society in synchronicity with nature

Nature demands that we be in “equivalence of form,” meaning “in balance.”As Nature is circular, a complete and harmonious system in all its actions, so should human society be built-circular and synchronized in all its parts. We will all benefit from being part of a balanced state, and the right connections between us will grant us “Nature’s blessing.”

Changing Society

A sense of meaninglessness

Modern society has created a reality based on limited and purposeful connections, whose aim is to achieve very limited goals. Alongside this experience of limited connections, we have begun to feel a sense of meaninglessness in our lives. This is creating a crisis in every realm of our personal and social lives.

the next stage of human evolution

Today, we’re at the threshold of a revolution. The gap between the environment we have created an Nature’s imperatives is taking its toll. New conditions, both within us and in our environment, are pressing us with growing intensity, changing us from within and disintegrating the oppressive patterns of human society. Nature is pushing us to reach the next stage of our evolution as humans, to come to view life from a different perspective.

Another meaning of life

The reality in which work takes over most of our time is about to change. When that happens, people will not sit idly by, but will begin searching for another meaning to life. This is when we will truly learn what it means to “be human.” As work hours shrink to the necessary minimum for sustenance, we will fill our lives with engagements appropriate to our level as human beings, engagements where we feel our souls.

Change of our perception of life

This is a radical change that implies reorganization of the entire human society. This change is mandatory; we will have to go through this process due to pressures from within and without, or through awareness and initiative to immediately begin paving the way toward our new destination. Then, our perception of life will change, our economy will change, and industries will shrink and shift from over-production to producing solely what is needed to sustain us.

Why are we here in this life?

Work will become nothing more than a necessary tool for our survival, and our perception of the growing unemployment will change. Our free time will be channeled toward the primary purpose of our lives – to answer the question, “Why are we here in this life?” This question will arise in the majority of humanity, and will become the issue that directs our lives and all of our engagements.

Suffering Becomes Sweet

voluntarily suffering

A person on a spiritual path can encounter common problems in life. The question is whether he links them to the light of tomorrow, and thus, is he willing to suffer today. There are many people who agree to searches and restrictions for the sake of future achievements, for example, scientists who conduct scientific research, or mothers willing to endure labor pains and nine months of pregnancy to give birth to a baby.

Although it is suffering, it is chosen voluntarily. Therefore, you cannot say that suffering is always bad. If the goal justifies the suffering, then I am ready to go through it as a payment for the desired outcome. In general it is not clear if I could have achieved this goal without suffering. A free gift is usually not valued because there is no vessel for it, no desire; it is not achieved through one’s own efforts. I have not developed sensitivity for feeling this pleasure.

Spiritual growth

All suffering has a clear goal; the only question is how, by getting involved in the spiritual work, to use suffering purposefully. Suffering then becomes sweet; instead of feeling the suffering, we will enjoy it. Research shows that even at the physiological level, laughter and crying are one and the same process in the body.

When you receive suffering, you must immediately realize that it comes from the force of bestowal and love, and that it is good for the sake of my advancement towards spiritual growth. This entire world means nothing, and all of its petty, vile pricks are just to constantly keep me aimed at the force of love. There is nothing else but love, all this is shown to me to draw my attention so that I would appeal to this force.

Constant turning to the force of love

I put my foot forward to take the next step and turn to the force of love. One more step—I turn to it again, and so on all the time. If I do not take my eyes off this force, then I will not stumble. Thus, we advance toward the connection with the force of love until we enter the state of a spiritual embryo.

I should always feel some deficiency so that I have a reason to turn back to love again. Every time I get a stimulus, it directs me toward “There is no other force but love” When I fulfill the measure corresponding to the root of my soul, perform a sufficient amount of actions that return me to love and I associate them with love, I begin to feel that I am in a blessed field of love. I feel myself in this field of bestowal.

Spiritual embryo

This is the attainment of the state of spiritual embryo. And before that, there is preparation for it, excitement: we are pulled towards love and pushed away from it, pulls and pushes away. I want to constantly depend on love, no matter if I am feeling good or bad. I rise above the external cause that pushed me towards love and just want to be inside it!

It is necessary to constantly search and collect the desires leading one to the entry to the embryo. The force of love awakens the excitement, a new desire in me to receive, and when I feel bad, I start looking for love again and reach a certain connection with it. Then there awakens another desire to receive in me, and I seek for love again. And so every time: start – stop, entry – exit.  This way I feel more and more that all is governed by one force of love, encompassing the feelings of good and bad.

Entering a New Dimension

Ego

The world is finally beginning its gradual approach to the revelation of evil. People already understand that, on one hand, they cannot do anything about the ego because it is human nature, yet on the other hand, if we fail to eradicate it, it will kill us.

Therefore, people are beginning to think of how to eliminate the ego. Slowly, they try all possible methods and realize that none of them work. Our situation is hopeless. We are somewhere on the outskirts of a galaxy, spinning around a dwarf star on a tiny planet completely soiled with our waste. Life is ending and there are no perspectives. We are alone in the universe and soon there will be no life on planet Earth either. As they say, lights out.

A multidimensional reality

Our reality is multidimensional, and the revelation of the upper layer beyond our reality depends on our perception. If we change our internal perception of reality, we will suddenly find ourselves living in another world, as if teleportation had occurred and I suddenly feel myself in a different state, in another place.

This is how the situation looks frankly, but this is the revelation of evil at a point from which you can start thinking of what can be done. Perhaps someone would still give advice on how to save us. So, the ear begins to get tuned to such waves that were previously imperceptible: that there is life beyond our reality.

Change of perception

This is all because I changed my internal values and began to live in another world. This world is said to exist only so that we would leave it. The escape from our world is the only reason for the existence of the universe, our planet, and the people on Earth. In general, this world is imaginary, and we begin to live in the real world.

How can we change reality? It can change only if each of us changes. Reality depends on me and is felt inside me. Therefore, two people can see the same thing but one is crying and the other one is rejoicing. It all depends on how we perceive what is happening. I see everything as necessary steps toward correction, bringing us closer to goodness.1
