Invisible connection

Life evolves in two directions, which are both opposite and parallel; cooperation and self-fulfillment. In all of reality, self-fulfillment is possible only through cooperation with others. In minerals, for example, several atoms work together to form the molecules of that mineral. If one of the atoms were to separate, the mineral would disintegrate. At a higher level of complexity in plants and animals, including humans, there is a calibration of different molecules, cells and organs, that unite to create a separate being and again, if even one of the molecules in the cells of that being were missing, it would become ill or even die.

Ingnorance

Although we have long known this law of nature, we behave as if we are not part of the ecosystem called planet Earth.  Worse, among ourselves, we believe that one society can be superior to another. Yet nature clearly demonstrates that nothing is superfluous and that no part of any element in nature is superior to another. So why do we think we have a privilege that no other part of nature has to patronize and oppress other people and species? Where does this arrogance come from, if not from ignorance?

Because we are ignorant of the desire to give, which gives us our strength and wisdom, we relate them to ourselves. If we were aware that we too are a product of the two desires that constitute life, we would know how to thrive in this world, along with all of nature. Imagine if we all knew that we were united with all other human beings, that we were supported by all other human beings in the world, and that all they wanted was for us to maximize our potential. How wonderful life would be if every person contributed all his or her talents to society, and in return received the support and appreciation of society.

A Key to Happiness

If a person is immersed in his ego, in his desire to receive, then he certainly cannot be happy, because it will only bring him pain. But if he rises above his ego so as not to worry about what goes on inside him, but to live on a higher level and to identify with the attribute of bestowal, with the world, with everything that surrounds him, he can be happy constantly.

It can be to such an extent that he won’t feel what is happening with his body at all. The body can die, but a person will not feel that he belongs to his body any more.

Identified with the body/ego

Now we totally identify ourselves with our body. But if we can develop so that we will gradually draw further from it, we will eventually stop feeling that we are tied to it at all. It is as if I float above this body, and it is indeed so, because I identify with the attribute of bestowal and I live in it, and this is the key to advancing in happiness.

I can attain this if I am incorporated in the environment and together with others form one general group force that is not egoistic, but that is formed from all our spiritual sparks that are connected above our ego. Our ego loses its value and we raise the sparks and see them as the top priority. As a result we begin to live in these sparks that are connected and create one harmonious group force.

Developing mutual bestowal

Besides, by developing the force of mutual bestowal, which means that we can demand this force of bestowal from the upper force field, we will constantly feel happy. It all depends on how a person aims himself regarding the group, and how the group aims itself regarding the upper force field, regarding the field of bestowal and love.

This is the only factor that determines everything. I have to detach myself from my “self” and to rise to the level of “we”; everything will be accepted happily! It isn’t simple, and there are ascents and descents, but this is how we advance. Each time we receive an additional ego, an additional desire to enjoy, so that we will grow stronger and connect more tightly to the field of bestowal. This is the only way to advance.

If a person identifies with this, he accepts everything that happens on the way happily because he understands that it is a mean for reaching the goal. But if a person thinks only about his stomach—absorbed in himself, unable to rise above himself, then he will certainly walk around with a sour face, will suffer in life, and will always have complaints —it all depends on how a person aims himself.

Suffering Becomes Sweet

voluntarily suffering

A person on a spiritual path can encounter common problems in life. The question is whether he links them to the light of tomorrow, and thus, is he willing to suffer today. There are many people who agree to searches and restrictions for the sake of future achievements, for example, scientists who conduct scientific research, or mothers willing to endure labor pains and nine months of pregnancy to give birth to a baby.

Although it is suffering, it is chosen voluntarily. Therefore, you cannot say that suffering is always bad. If the goal justifies the suffering, then I am ready to go through it as a payment for the desired outcome. In general it is not clear if I could have achieved this goal without suffering. A free gift is usually not valued because there is no vessel for it, no desire; it is not achieved through one’s own efforts. I have not developed sensitivity for feeling this pleasure.

Spiritual growth

All suffering has a clear goal; the only question is how, by getting involved in the spiritual work, to use suffering purposefully. Suffering then becomes sweet; instead of feeling the suffering, we will enjoy it. Research shows that even at the physiological level, laughter and crying are one and the same process in the body.

When you receive suffering, you must immediately realize that it comes from the force of bestowal and love, and that it is good for the sake of my advancement towards spiritual growth. This entire world means nothing, and all of its petty, vile pricks are just to constantly keep me aimed at the force of love. There is nothing else but love, all this is shown to me to draw my attention so that I would appeal to this force.

Constant turning to the force of love

I put my foot forward to take the next step and turn to the force of love. One more step—I turn to it again, and so on all the time. If I do not take my eyes off this force, then I will not stumble. Thus, we advance toward the connection with the force of love until we enter the state of a spiritual embryo.

I should always feel some deficiency so that I have a reason to turn back to love again. Every time I get a stimulus, it directs me toward “There is no other force but love” When I fulfill the measure corresponding to the root of my soul, perform a sufficient amount of actions that return me to love and I associate them with love, I begin to feel that I am in a blessed field of love. I feel myself in this field of bestowal.

Spiritual embryo

This is the attainment of the state of spiritual embryo. And before that, there is preparation for it, excitement: we are pulled towards love and pushed away from it, pulls and pushes away. I want to constantly depend on love, no matter if I am feeling good or bad. I rise above the external cause that pushed me towards love and just want to be inside it!

It is necessary to constantly search and collect the desires leading one to the entry to the embryo. The force of love awakens the excitement, a new desire in me to receive, and when I feel bad, I start looking for love again and reach a certain connection with it. Then there awakens another desire to receive in me, and I seek for love again. And so every time: start – stop, entry – exit.  This way I feel more and more that all is governed by one force of love, encompassing the feelings of good and bad.
